Jib Cranes
The BZ series slewing jib crane, also called a column jib crane, comes in manual, electric-slewing and mobile versions. It is a light lifting device with a compact structure, convenient and flexible operation and a very wide range of applications, and it is the ideal choice wherever material has to be picked up and set down frequently at a fixed point — workshops, warehouses and production lines.
The rotating jib and the hoist travelling along it combine to form an efficient circular or fan-shaped working area with wide coverage. Because the crane is mounted on a column it does not take up much floor space and has minimal effect on the layout of the site.
Compared with a bridge or gantry crane, installation requirements are far lower and the installation cycle much shorter, especially for the fixed type: an anchor-bolt base plate is cast into the floor and the column is set on it.
Jib length, column height, electric or manual rotation and fixed or mobile configuration are all customer-selectable. Depending on the site, the slewing range can be supplied as 180°, 270° or 360°.
