Monorail & KBK
KBK is a modular light crane system. Cold-rolled enclosed profiles are suspended from the roof structure on threaded rods and joined with bolted connectors, so a monorail, a curve, a switch or a full suspension bridge crane can be assembled from the same catalogue of parts — and rebuilt when the production layout changes.
The enclosed profile keeps the running surface clean, so trolleys roll with very low resistance: an operator can move several hundred kilograms along the track by hand without effort.
Because the system is suspended, hanger spacing rather than a heavy runway beam carries the load, which usually means no new columns and no floor work.
Chain hoists, balancers, vacuum lifters and articulated manipulators all mount on the same trolley, and the whole system can be extended module by module later.
