Electric Double-Girder Overhead Crane
The double-girder crane carries the trolley on rails welded to the top of two box girders. Because the crab sits above the beams rather than below them, the hook can be lifted much closer to the roof structure, and far greater capacities and spans become possible than with a single-girder machine.

European-style double-girder construction is used throughout: compact wheelbase, low headroom trolley and a hoist unit with a rope drum sized so that the rope wraps in a single layer. That protects the rope, keeps the hook rise smooth and extends replacement intervals.
Every welded joint on the girder is inspected and the assembly is stress-relieved before machining. Wheels are forged and hardened, and the drives are fitted with maintenance-free gearboxes.
Auxiliary hooks, magnet or grab power packs, walkways along both girders and a full-length maintenance platform can all be integrated at the design stage rather than bolted on later.
