Gantry Cranes

Manual Push Gantry Frame

A manual trackless gantry uses the same bolted portal as the electric version but is moved by hand and lifted with a chain block or a hand-geared trolley. It is the least expensive way to get a certified lifting point into a corner of a workshop, and needs no power connection whatsoever.

The frame is built from the same box and tube sections as the powered version and is proof-load tested to the same standard, so nothing is given up on safety.

A geared push trolley on the top beam moves the load along the beam under hand-chain control, which is more than accurate enough for machine setting and mould work.

Lifting legs with pin-and-hole height adjustment let one frame serve several different jobs.
